When is your most productive time to work? 

In the mornings.
Drawing item you can’t live without? 

Caran d’Ache Neocolor and Neopastel crayons.
What music puts you in your groove? 

I tend to listen to Radio 4. Being able to listen to the radio is one of the perks of illustrating – I can’t listen to the radio when I’m busy writing or animating.
Age of child you most love to draw?  

I much prefer drawing animals – of any age!
If you were an animal, what would you be? 

A giraffe – obviously.
Favourite, yes only one, children’s book of all time? 

‘Pluk van de Petteflet’ by Dutch writer Annie M. G. Schmidt and illustrator Fiep Westendorp. I can clearly remember the moment I picked it up in the bookshop when I was 8 years old.
