Early in the morning. If deadlines are looming will work late into the night.

My Blackwing.

What music puts you in your groove? 

Anything by Hans Zimmer played usually on a loop and at full volume.

Age of child you most love to draw?  

Still young enough to be optimistic.

If you were an animal, what would you be? 

Tiger.

Favourite, yes only one, children’s book of all time? 

Robin Hob - I don’t know if you would call her a children’s writer but I think all YA people should read her “Liveship Traders Trilogy” and “Rain Wide Chronicles”.

Illustrator, author from any time you most admire? 

Edmund Dulac - his composition, economic of line and use of colour simply can not be faulted.
